Baabaa is a sheep reference. Thanks for the wool guys! and zuzu is the owner and design originator, Sue Burns' nickname.strung together, baabaazuzu has a playful ring and compliments our unique line.

We purchase by the ton what post-consumer companies like Goodwil Industries cannot sell. We salvage wool from all across the country, keeping about 3000 pounds of textiles out of the landfills each month!

how do i care for my baabaazuzu purchase?

      1.  spot cleaning? 

Wool is naturally stain resistant as you may have noticed, water and other liquids simply bead up and roll off. A stiff bristled brush can take care of a lot of stains. We love the old fashioned goody brushes for this and they are great for removing pills on knits.

     2.  machine washable?

All baabaazuzu apparel and accessories that are fleece lined or trimmed can not be dry-cleaned. These items must be hand washed with a gentle detergent. Lay flat to dry. Use your iron on the hottest setting to reshape.

     3.   dry cleaning? 

Baabaazuzu apparel and accessories that aren't fleece lined can be dry cleaned. We recommend this method of cleaning with our jackets and vests.
