Reinvention Convention

I am so excited to be working with Zu crew designer, Donna Hardwick and Marketing & PR Coordinator, Hillary Burns on the Goodwill’s Reinvention Convention project for team baabaazuzu. It is really one of the most fun and creative fundraisers going. Here is how it works: Artists register, pay an entrance fee and then go hunting at the Goodwill store for materials to repurpose into an art piece that will be voted on and auctioned off. All of this is done to benefit Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan, a non-profit orginization, supporting community members in gaining the skills needed to find employment. The Goodwill programs cover the very basic needs of housing and food to transportation and job training for those in need. The proceeds from this will directly aid the Workers on Wheels program.
