We just got back from exhibiting at the Made in America Roadshows (Novi, MI). Baabaazuzu was honored to be among American manufacturers, artisans and service providers. From salsa to denim jeans, we were excited to see great products made here in the states; especially those made in Michigan. Here’s our booth: We were so thankful [...]
Blast From the Past–Baabaazuzu Watermelon Mittens
Watermelon mittens are back at The Zu! Our very first website featured a pair of Watermelon mittens, which every customer wanted. We had to educate our audience to let them know that all of our goods are one-of-a-kind. Watermelon sweaters just aren’t that common. But low and behold, here is another pair of Watermelon mittens. [...]

In Loving Memory of Pele Burns
Last week due to health complications our sweet doodle, Pele, left us. We’ve been reminiscing his life with fond memories–he certainly has some of the best stories a dog could have. While looking at work photos, we came across this Coincidental Coordination of Pele: He was also a trooper when it came to Worst Sweater [...]

Ahhhh, so sad, we are dog lovers and know how much of the family our dogs become to us. We were greeted by Pete last summer when we visited the shop and immediately fell in love with him. He was so happy and friendly, may you know our hearts are with you.
-
Oooh.. Just got your Winter book & saw Pele there in the midst of all your fabulous goods.. Had to come check out your site.. & he greeted me again. My heart goes out to you. There is nothing as full & then as empty as the big space a dog fills. He so reminds me of my best boy.. 12 years of the best love ever. Thinking of you. Hugs all.

What a beautiful tribute…truly captures the spirit of Pele’.

Thank you for your thoughts, Margo. It’s certainly been different here at The Zu without our sweet friend. We’re happy to have so many wonderful photos of Pele (used in our marketing) to keep his spirit alive.
-
Pele was a fabulous greeter! So glad you were able to to experience his sweet hospitality, Diane. Thanks for your sweet words.
-
Thanks for the love, Polly & Dog! Great memories of our tennis ball retriever. It was the poodle in Pele that made the game of ball so much fun; he always hid it and would ask us to find it–silly, wonderful doodle he was.
